Where are we?
The Centre is situated in the church room, in the beautiful churchyard of St Simon and St Jude in Milton.
Who are we?
We are a group of people from the local Anglican churches and beyond, wanting to serve our local community and provide space for people to meet and enjoy time together.
What are we doing?
A whole range of things: from browsing the papers on a Tuesday morning to afternoon tea on a Thursday; from meeting for prayers to gathering to support others who have been recently bereaved.
We are also a collection point for our local food bank.
What might we do in the future?
We are also talking to Mind and the University of the Third Age. We are planning a parenting forum and a pre school group. There are so many possibilities.
How can you get involved?
By bringing a neighbour for tea and cake on a Thursday afternoon or bringing some packets and tins for the food bank. By coming along on a Tuesday to discuss what’s going on in the world or letting us know who we can be praying for. By thinking of other opportunities for the community or baking a cake for afternoon tea.
What do you think?
Would you like to start a craft group? Or do you have another idea?
