Work has begun in St John the Baptist church in Fifield.

The builders uncovered the window (possibly 13^th century) when working on the west wall of the nave repairing the plaster.

Don’t forget there is a Flower Festival in St Simon and St Jude’s Church in Milton as part of the Scarecrow Trail this Saturday, 8 June. Can you guess which TV or film character is represented by each floral display? Church open 11am-5pm.

We are pleased to announce that Shipton Church is now open.

The church is now back in use (with scaffolding) and as of March we have been receiving donations for the roof and reordering of the church. We do not have a definitive costing for this work but it will be a large sum of money. We have the help of a professional fundraiser; Jackie Wilson, but we need to be more proactive with our local fundraising.
