Join us for the first in our season of Carol Services on Sunday 1 December at 6pm in St Mary’s, Shipton under Wychwood.
A reflective carol service marking the start of the Advent season, starting our preparations for the coming of Christmas, featuring a series of hymns, readings and choral music with the Shipton choir.

Don’t forget it’s Quiz night on Sunday, 7.30pm at the Wychwood Inn…. Get your teams together (4-6) or just come and join a team on the night. Prizes and raffle. All in aid of Shipton’s church roof repair fund.

9 November Fifield Coffee Morning
With stalls including Christmas cards, wrapping paper and books plus new and nearly-new table and raffle, coffee, tea and biscuits.
Christmas Shoebox Countdown
We are once again collecting shoeboxes on behalf of the charity Teams4U. Leaflets are available in the churches and the benefice office.
In addition to filling shoeboxes for children there is also an option of putting together a shoebox for the home. For details of what to include and to download labels or the leaflet, please have a look at the website: http://teams4u.com/
Please bring your shoeboxes to the 9.30am service on 17 November in Milton church. There are a few empty shoeboxes in Milton church.
Sunday 3 November, 11am Shipton Church
We will once again be reading out the names of those who have died recently and remembering other departed loved ones we hold dear at this special service.
During the service, there will also be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of your own loved ones.
If you would like to add someone to the list of those to be remembered please email [email protected] or leave a message in the Benefice Centre by 29 October or write it on the sheets which will be in each of the churches until 28 October.
