We welcome Sarah Sharp as Vicar of the Wychwood Benefice at a special service on Monday 23 September at 7.30pm in Shipton Church. All are welcome. It would be lovely to have as many members of of the community there as possible to give Sarah a warm Wychwoods welcome! The service will be followed by refreshments.
Biographical information from Sarah
I have been an incumbent in the Dorchester archdeaconry since 2003 serving first in the Lower Windrush Benefice in Witney deanery and then in Bodicote in the Deddington deanery so I have many friends in the area. My sister lives in Banbury and my mother has just taken up residence in Tall Trees. I am hopeless at learning names, have no sense of direction and struggle with IT but I really enjoy the diversity of rural ministry and being part of a number of communities. As a former primary school teacher I have stayed involved in education and hope to form a good relationship with the school. Thank you all so much for the welcome you have given me. I hope to get to know you all really soon and grow in ministry with you. Sarah
